Description The purpose is to show all members the code of conduct for maintaining their health and carrying through their educational and research activities safely and smoothly. One must attend this lecture once he/she becomes a member of the University of Tokyo.

Target All of those who will use chemicals
Description About managing the inventory and usage of chemicals in each laboratory in a unified manner, using the University of Toyo Chemical Information Management System.

High-Pressure Gas Cylinder lecture

Target All of those who will use gas cylinders for CO2 gas, nitrogen gas, oxygen gas, etc.
Description About the handling precautions for high-pressure gas, purchasing from the High-Pressure Gas Cylinder Management System, management by UTCIMS, etc.

Use of Cryogen Lecture for Kashiwa Region

Target All of those who will use cryogen (liquid nitrogen). Note that those who attended the Use of Cryogen Lecture are recognized as having completed the High-pressure Gas Cylinder Lecture as well.

Living Modified Organisms Lecture

Target All of those who will use living modified organisms. If you think you need to attend the seminar, consult with your supervisor first.

Animal Experiment Lecture

Target All of those who will conduct experiments with animals (From fish to mammals. Not required for experiments with plants and non-vertebrates such insects, nematodes, etc). This lecture must be attended every 5 years. If you think you need to attend the seminar, consult with your supervisor first.

Target All of those who will conduct experiments with radioactive materials and radio isotope. If you think you need to attend the workshop, consult with your supervisor first.
